Fishing for Catfish in Eastern Washington

Post by TonyV » Tue Feb 10, 2015 9:47 am

I am looking for channel catfish locations as close to Spokane as possible. Any Ideas?
The only place I have caught them so far is at the mouth of the Walla Walla river in Pasco.

I'm sure there are many spots, we did a video last year with YJ Guide Service:

Potholes has many big cats, and Moses isn't bad either. That whole chain has them. For sheer numbers the Snake and Columbia are best, from Priest Rapids on down.

Don't know how well they're doing, but there are channel cats in Sprague and is the closest to Spokane.

You may try down at Almota on the Snake.

I've fished above the falls and have a real good spot for squawfish. #-o
