Silver Lake Open Cowlitz County (March19th)

Post by kevinb » Fri Jan 14, 2011 7:54 pm

I'm sure most of you are already aware but figured I'd post it up anyway.
March 19th 2011 is the Silver Lake Open hosted by CCBC out of Silver Lake Motel and Resort.
This club does a great job and provides a pretty awesome raffle.

Just mentioning it!

Look at past results it usually takes one fish due to the colder water.

Can't claim previous years but I certainly recall last year,it really came down to a one fish.
Several bass were caught but it was only one that claimed the first place position and another fellow
caught a carp, think he got a prize too. Eitherway,I'm not much of a tourney bass guy but was really impressed
how this event was run. CCBC also gave out some rods and reels to the youngsters at the event which spoke volumes
in my book.
If anyone has an open seat and doesn't mind fishing with a guy that has no clue.....give me a shout:clown:

The Allison should be there! We have to redeem our embarrassing day at the Mickleson open! LOL

SmanOhood ,

Take this as your final warning bud , I have witness nothing but negative comments from all 13 of your posts, Im not clear as to what your problem is but this kind of behavior is not welcome here at WL.COM .. If you dont chill out you will not be allowed on this site soon .. ! [mellow]

I have sent you PM just last week and i mentioned that being rude is not how we roll and i politely ask you to stop it !! Since you never responded back that pretty much told me what you all about .. This is a family website not your personal playground [-x

Stopped by the resort while returning from Oregon. Spoke with John,Mark and a few others. I guess the lake has been
pretty much all white caps for the last 4 days, plenty of heavy winds. Not sure what if anything that will pose for the upcoming tourney but mentioning it. Hoping to make it down Sunday

Congrats on the bassboat! Maybe we'll see you hunting brown fish this year on Lake WaWA.
