I saw you !!:dwarf: Are you fishing tomorrow with that new rod? Your daughter is adorable.
I see you!! LOL- I got everything I wanted and more. Love my new rod. Love the Pole Cats, love my new tackle bag. Love it. The owner of Pole Cats came over to me when he seen I was walking around with my new stick and put a Pole Cat on it for free!!
Didn't get a chance to go to the pond, way to crowded for my little honey. It was a good father/daughter time...We had fun.

Saw a ton of people on Sat. Probably more than I have ever seen in years past. Shoulder to shoulder at one point in the afternoon.
Good times and ppl @ the show. Glad to see many members there, talk some shop and shake some hands. Thanks to all who came by to re-new their premium memberships. Long day but was a blast. I don't know how you do it for 5 days Mike.

It will be interesting to see if there is a BUMP in online registration at the website after the Sportsman show. We are about 200 short of 10,000 members.

YES! send payment to
admin@washingtonlakes.com. Make sure you note it is for a Premium Membership and include your User Name so I can go into the system and manually upgrade/extend your membership. I'll honor the $20 show price. Actually,
we have decided that renewals/extensions will be $20 year round. Our thanks for your on-going support!

Do this on the web site and I will credit the $5 back so you only pay $20. Or, use PayPal as noted above, send it for $20 and note it is the Show price rate, which I'll honor until Feb 1st midnight.

It was exhausting and awesume to meet and talk to so many current and new WL.com fans. Time to rest my voice.

Had a good time today manning the WL.Com booth - Man I have never seen Dez so quiet - poor guy was wore out!:-$
Had a lot of sign ups and more foot traffic than I expected for a Sunday right up until closing time. Welcome to all the newcomers, don't be shy - jump right in!
I think the only new-to-me current member I got to meet today was flinginpooh - it was nice to meet you man and thanks for explaining your sign in name for me - got a MUCH better mental picture now!
I fish not because I regard fishing as being terribly important, but because I suspect that so many of the other concerns of men are equally unimportant, and not nearly so much fun. ~ John Volker

Yeah it was good to meet you, Dez and Mike. That was not the first time I have had to explain my screen name. It truely is innocent. Hope to meet more members and maybe even get to fish with a few of you. I had fun at the show.
More fish please!

Although I wasn't able to attend (sad to say), a "pole cat" is an old time slang term for a skunk, so I'm guessing it's a play on that. Good idea!

It has to do with keeping your rods protected. I tried to find the company online but I couldn't. They are only at the shows or online.
EDIT: I did find this
http://ogeecheeoutdoors.com/rod-protect ... edium.html
"Slip on rod handle, Velcro (TM) flap holds rod tip in place. May be left on the rod permanently."

Look for Wannafish A Lure on FaceBook
He said, “Throw your net on the right side of the boat and you will find some.” When they did, they were unable to haul the net in because of the large number of fish.

So you mean the sleeve that you can slide over your rod to protect it. Some made of cloth, some made of 'woven plastic'?

Hey pooh, You're not too far from my neck of the woods. If you're headin' out sometime soon shoot me a pm and I'll catch up with ya and maybe we can do some fishin'. Hey jens, what kind of stick did you pick up? Was it an okuma? I know they were givin' tackle bags out with those if you bought one. Sweet deal. I picked up a nice lami. Glad to see everyone had a great time at the show. Thanks again mike, GREAT job! Hope to fish with some more of you soon, TIGHT LINES!!
When times get tough, just keep on fishin'!!!
