RE:Hey everyone!
Regarding the trout and predation - I found out it wouldn't be an issue. As far as more info on that lake, your best bet is to contact the bio over there at the Regional Office - they've got the inside scoop about the management and future direction. They are a great group of guys and very knowledgeable.

RE:Hey everyone!
Hi Stac,
I know Rufus is a bit our of you jurisdiction but maybe you have some glue why the Colville tribe is monitoring the fishing on the lake? During my stay at the Bridgeport State Park last weekend I talk with two ladies from the Colville tribe on two separate mornings. They are tracking the fisherman at all access points on the lake. They were recording auto and trailer license numbers and doing a head count. Both were very nice and mentioned that this would be their job monitoring fishing pressure throughout the winter. I get a little nervous when people start recording my license plate numbers.
One thing I did learn from them is that there are about 200 boat trailers parked along the lake on any given weekend. At least it gives a clue on how many people are fishing the lake.
It is great that someone from WDFW is on this site and willing to help. Thanks and keep up the good work.

RE:Hey everyone!
We often work with other agencies and the tribes to get data on fishing habits. It is likely a cooperative effort which benefits both groups, plus the anglers. It sounds like they were doing creel checks, similar to what I do down here although I don't count boat trailers since my lakes are very small and I can see all the boats on the lake with my binoculars.
I'm not sure what they would be doing with license plate numbers. I can find out why that data would be collected and what it would be used for if you would like me to.
Just let me know!
