Razor Clam Dig Suggestions
We are thinking about doing the razor clam dig this weekend any suggestions?Since we have never dug the razors before.Have dug steamers and some others,but never razors.Any help would be great.Thanks in advance.

how many digs usually happen per year? Ive wanted to try this but keep missing each one due to obligations here.

There will probably 1 more spring dig after this one, and then no more until September or October. They usually have 4 0r five digs in the spring and the same in the fall.

Make sure you get there two hours early of the tide. Bring lanterns if it's before sunrise. It's a fun time and they taste great.

Remember, that ocean is dangerous. Even a little wave or a rip current can pull you off the beach. A lady drowned out here just last weekend.

True! Earlier the better. Usually first dig of the year (evening dig), we're there 3 to 4 hours early.
