How to get the premium membership/pay for it?

Post by A9 » Sat Mar 29, 2008 9:50 pm

I peeked around to try and figure out how we get the premium membership (I know we pay for it) but I'm not sure HOW we pay and how much. IF someone knows where this is and could point me in the direction of that thread, it would be MUCH appreciated. But if it isn't mentioned, then what is the standard process for paying for the premium membership and what is the associated cost? Mike?
Thanks
Looking forward to it..

I would like the know the cost too? Monthly, annually.....?

Hope it's not going to break the bank just to be around here.

Sounds well worth it

These are the Premium membership fees and features when the new site goes on line:
$17.99/yr
$29.99/2yr
$149.00 for lifetime membership

Free membership will have all that is offered now:
Fishing Reports
Forum Access
Report comments
Fishing Videos

Premium members get all that is listed above plus the following:
Personalized Fishing Portal
Fishing Blog
Generate Detailed Lake Statistic Reports
Mobile Data Access
GPS Enabled Functions
Email/SMS Alerts
Hot-Spot Fishing Location Maps
Member Chat
Personalized Weather Reports
Custom High Resolution Topographic Maps
Photo Galleries

The way that I understand it is that no payment will be taken until the site is up and running. At that time you can purchase the membership. Details to follow. Mike will handle the memberships.

So, guys. For less than the price of a pair of Levis, you get quite a bit. Well worth it.

Looks sweet.

I'm going to ask Mike to look into arranging that. I think that it would be a great addition to the site.

I am kind of a weather buff also, although not as knowledgeable as you are. The blog area would be a great spot to post frequent weather analysis.

Thanks Marc, you got it covered. The new site update and Premimum Membership should come onlineby the end of May. Aaron has a ton of stuff he is working on to get this completed before we get into summer. At that time you'll see all the info.

I'll tell you what, as good as this version is, the new one is way better. Guys are going to really like it and hopefully will see the benefits of going the premium membership route. It will be a lot like having your own website on WashingtonLakes.com. We don't want to make it an unreasonable cost to be a premimum member but also because of the time and effort involved we feel it's fair to charge for the extras. Noithing that you can get now for free will be lost in the upgrade.

Plus, as time goes by future cool things will be added I'm sure.

Marc is helping out with beta testing. And because I know guys will ask, right now we don't need additonal beta testers, but we will be sure to ask when we do!

Kevinb are you seriously on food stamps? If so, that's totally respectable...I just want to make sure...if you need any help let me know, ok?! I could make some dinners and deliver them to you, just let me know...I use to be very sick and ill and needed help and I was lucky to get it...and my faith helped a lot...but let me know if you need anything, k?
No....I have a lame sense of humor.
Fire Department pays me well. Not rich though.
