RE:spell check
Not sure if this is different for any other internet browser, but I'm on a Macbook using Firefox and if I misspell a word, the red dotted line underneath the incorrect word pops up, alerting me that I've made a spelling error.

Also on Safari
RE:spell check
Marc, I've found safari to be a little slower for me and has some weird kinks in it. I've switched to Firefox and my browsing seems to have sped up and the goofy little things aren't there anymore...Marc Martyn wrote:Also on Safari
Might wanna try firefox...

RE:spell check
I switched to Firefox several months ago. Safari does have some quirky things to it. I haven't had any problems with Firefox to speak of.
RE:spell check
For you guys that are using firefox check this site out. i use this on every one of my computer's and it has not given me a single problem.

This program changes a few things in firefox, such as the pipelining maximum's and you get a little timer in the bottom right of your browser to show how fast web pages load. It does some other things, but basically speeds it up by allowing your computer to load more things at once instead of one at a time like most browser's.
You can do it all manually but fasterfox is a lot easier and it always works. It is also cool because you can check for updates to the fasterfox extension. This helps because then there is much less maintenance. And best of all it is free!
If you wanna do it manually or see other cool firefox tricks... check out this page.

Sorry, this is kind of off topic but I am really nerdy, give me a break.

RE:spell check
Spell check would be a very nice feature. I have to put words that I am unsure of in to the Google search at the top of my page to see how the word comes up and is spelled. Please, can we have one?

RE:spell check
Spelling is not my strong suite. So I write all my posts on a word document and run spell check before cutting and pasting on to the forums. Somewhere on this site I thought I once saw spell checker but today when I took another look to try to find it, I couldn't find it. I also notice that if I want to underline a word or try to use the features like bold or italicize, it doesn't work. Instead it puts a capital U on both sides of the word I am trying to underline, or a capital B if I am trying to make a word bold. no complaints though. I have no problem just using Microsoft word first to get it all right before posting. It would be convenient if spell check was present and the other tools worked for me but I'm good with it either way. Or, maybe it's me that is doing it all wrong. Anyway. That's probably it.

RE:spell check
the spell checker is on the report form only.
RE:spell check
That’s where I've seen it. Just a heads up Mike, I haven't been able to get the spell checker to work. It goes to spell checker mode but doesn't respond. I’ve also noticed that when I try to make a word bold or underlined, it puts the letter B or U on both side of the highlighted word but doesn’t make the word bold or underlined. Is that a browser issue on my end? Like I said above, not a big issue w/me because I just use a word document to write a message and check spelling/grammar, then copy and paste to the forum. Thanks Mike. You da man.

RE:spell check
I have noticed that spell checker doesn't always work. Doesn't matter if I am in IE or Firefox. It will pick and choose when it works.
