Spring break fishing trip!!! Where do I go?

Post by jcn980 » Thu Apr 03, 2014 3:42 pm

I live in Monroe. My son and I are planning to do some fishing next week, I am debating a day on the Sol Duc trying to catch a few springers, but that is not a sure fire way to catch fish.

If you just wanted to go catch a CRAP LOAD of fish in April within reasonable distance from me - where would you go?

THANKS!!!

Safeway..... but seriously, since you're in Monroe, Fish Lake next to Lake Wenatchee is a reasonable one day trip.

Westport. Bring a crab ring and drop it off float 20 in the marina. Look for possible razor clam digs on wdfw website. Fish the jetty or finger jetties.

Lake Hanson in granite falls, use bobber and worm you'll limit out on native cutts, in less than 2 hours, I guarantee it. 10 mile round trip hike. Beautiful scenery though.
hi my name is john, and I'm a fishing addict.
