Freeze 'em until you use 'em. Even if they're leftover store bought, it keeps the dank out. But if given a choice between moldy roe and a dollars worth of salad shrimp, I'd go with the shrimp.

YESSS! use eggs and shrimp all freaking day at the skook! That's all me and ff use when we go. Bobber dog eggs and shrimp. You may need to use longer 3 to 4ft leaders in the really slow holes or short float in the slow corner hole to keep your bait off the bottom.

Ohhhhhh so thats what you were using in the video haha. I watched that video countless times and could not understand what you were doing. So whole shrimp, or will cut prawns work too ? I really appreciate all the comments.

I love that hole for float and jig but this year it sucks. Do you guys run a corky with the eggs on the skook or just yarn.

eggs seemed to be the only thing to catch those stupid skagit coho this past fall, I didn't hook any with spinners or jigs.
Hey FF are you going to float the cow in your drifter?

Yep. Borax only to firm them up. Steelhead like it natural. Only really works good with coho eggs cause theyre more red, but any egg is good boraxed only. And no, the cow is really slow this year, not only that, but all the crowds, i dont need to be there. Ill fish the chehalis system and forks instead!
