All hatchery brats, some adipose clipped, some dorsal. Catch and release wild fish!

a little hard to tell from the pic, but it looks like there is a stub leftover from a ventral fin clip

These fish are from the tribe hatchery, and they don't want to do it the same way that everyone else does. I think it has to do with the fact that they are trying to put native stock back into their hatchery fish. I shoulda mentioned that, this happens every time I post pics of the fish I catch out there.

Caught this bad boy with Mike on the Cowlitz. He went 11.9 pounds and 32 inches long. I was satisfied, the fight was tricky he went from the top all the way to the bottom at the Blue Creek drift. But with Mikes expert driving and a little doing we got him in. That was a great trip.

Went with ff on the crazy logjam day and nabbed this lil guy. he tanked my eggs hard and jumped all the way out of the water when I set the hook. also peeled line downstream and tried to swim into the logjam near my feet. managed to pull him out only for him to go into a tree and get tangled up. FF reached into the water and grabbed him for me, wouldn't have been able to land the fish otherwise! definitely helps to have a good fishing buddy with you.

Went 6-10 on fish hooked today, and had at least 6 other take downs that i know for a fact were fish cause i could see them flash and roll as they spit out my hook. Haha. had the river to myself. Heres the Pics, kept 2 in the end, released the rest. Broke off a 12 or so pounder, must of had knot or fray in leader cause there was no pressure at all, i had just landed 3 fish on same leader so thats probably why... oh well.
