Ya, it is a good video. Love the take down's! You can actually tell when those king were mouthing the plug just before take down! The footage was taken in N. California.

Yaaaaa I luuuuuv this link LOL. Just got energized again. Ripping line, music to help kick in the adrenaline....:thumleft: Dang, gotta wait all the way 'til next year for that 'Nook rippin' song on the reel. Burnt thumbs are cool.
Having Chris Cornell in there helps get it rolling too...

haha i wish i have video of the most violent take down i have ever seen on the skagit. this 30+ pound chinook hit the kwicky so hard befor i was on the rod he had about 100yards of line off the rod. the rod had to be replaced do to the take and the rod being cracked at the front cork

I put that vid on my favs list so I can get seriously pumped next year for chinook! Those runs are awesome. Dang, may have to get a kwik or two even if I'm casting from the banks LOL.

That was friggn great. I love how they just rip right through and the rod is bent so much. It's like snagging a stump with an escape plan! HEhehehe, next year and we'll get more.

LOL it is pretty cool having them fishing that light gear with plugs in heavy water for big fish. I'd be so on a line between 'uh-oh is my rod gonna break'/'I'll never turn this fish' or 'YAAAA THIS IS AWESOME!'.
