New Bottom Fishing Regs

Post by physher92 » Sun Apr 04, 2010 6:56 pm

Hey so a few days ago I read the new changes to the regs for bottom fishing, I fish mainly just in area 7 so I'm not sure about the rules for other areas but for area 7, you now won't be able to keep any rockfish, you won't be able to fish deeper than 120 feet, and the new slot for lingcod is 26 to 36. Thoughts? What does everybody think of this?
You can never catch fish if your line isn't in the water - you don't know if you don't go

i personaly do not like the like the 120 foot rule but if it helps save rockfish for all of us then thats fine
the slot size is fine, the smaller fish taste better anyways since they have less worms
My rod and reel, they comfort me.
