SUPERBOWL XLIII

Post by fishnislife » Sun Jan 18, 2009 7:03 pm

Arizona Cardinals vs. Pittsburgh Steelers

Super Sunday is now set for Tampa Bay in two weeks.

You make the call? Winner?

I can only go with the Cardinals because I can't stand the Steelers for obvious reasons.
I just hope it's a quality game.
Go Cards!

Sorry,...I'm goin Steelers. I think the Cardinals are going to be a little more than surprised by
the "Black and Gold Express" I hope for a good game and not a complete blowout.

Its great to see Kurt Warner playing so well.

Man I hate the Steelers! And Ben still didn't score in Super Bowl XL. Just like the Testeverde head counts as a touchdown crap. Yes I'm still bitter. Go Cardinals...please!

Kurt called me washed up years ago/draft and pay another junior stud massive $$$ then bench him and get me Kurt the washed up vet! !:-$

He showed all the hero's/experts what a true Vet already once (Champion) what heart is all about as well as a Golden arm he still has!
He still reads defenses pretty well if his line plays up to par:eye: :cheese:

These acts alone now have him in the future hall of fame!

He has more bad broken parts then his young team combined but he lead them to showtime

I will be cheering for him about him pushing age 40 but truth be told the Iron/Steel Curtain should fold his game.

Kurt Warner show them showtime one more game if you do your name will be of legend and set in stone!:bounce:
Remember in most cases Defense wins Football games:-$ will see= GO Cards/Kurt Go:eye:

I was hoping Philly would have made it also. As much as it hurts to say I think the Steelers have this one. I do not see the Cardinals making it through that defense.

Spiking the ball, struttin' your stuff in the end zone like a chicken on steroids, shootin' other players with you fingers. That's not football to me. Jim Brown was my kind of quintessential football player. When he scored a touchdown he would either hand the ball to the ref or just drop it. He never tried to draw attention to himself. THAT was team spirit and the way football should be played. So, I don't much watch football anymore but I will watch this Superbowl. I also don't think that Pittsburgh beat Seattle in their Superbowl, the officials stole the game from us. So I don't have any animosity toward Pittsburgh and I favor them to win by a 2 to 1 margin.

For doing the pigskin pick'em thing every week, I'm a bit surprised by all the football haters. I despise the Steelers, and when Warner took the last place Rams to the big dance and won, he won my respect. I hope the Cardinals win and Ben cries like a little girl.
