Does anybody have information about Rainbow lake, just south of Wannacut Lake in Okanogan County, WA? I have a friend who is looking at some property over there and is asking specifically about how deep it is and what fish are in there. Any information is appreciated.
Thanks!

Re: Rainbow Lake Okanogan County
No real info for you, but growing up in Tonasket I had never heard of Rainbow lake, so I would say small and not too deep and possibly marginal fishing (maybe Upland Sandpiper has better info, since he seems to be in that area kayak fishing). Some of the lakes in that area are also very alkaline (Blue lake up the road from Wannacut and Omak lake) so only the Lahaton cutthroat can survive. There is a stretch of area through that area called the lime belt that makes many of the lakes high pH. If the property has a good well it might be a good place very pretty country and nice and isolated.
Lots of good fishing in all the other nearby lakes for sure though.
