Does not seem to be total member guesses, if that is what Lou and F n Christ have posted. Since either is well below the current member count. If you two are guessing. That guess is for "total" member count at years end. Not what the count once was......silly! What do your numbers represent, if not year end total member guesses?

spammers will appear from dormant accounts and when they reveal themselves they get an instant ban, thus the numbers go down. Since Aaron modified the registration system mid-year this issue will be almost gone.

I've seen spammers that signed up a year or more before they tried to post a spam. I think they were/are part of a 'pool' in a spammer's organization. Sooner or later they get 'assigned' to these built up list of accounts, and then try to spam them. They were/and are banned quickly.

That's some patience right there or thinking ahead on their part.

Which sharpener was purchased? If you don't mind posting here, so I don't have to go a searching in the original knife sharpening thread.

My fear is the grinding type sharpener will grind to much material, to quickly. So, at present I hand sharpen with ceramic rods. Before sharpening, no hair removal from back of hand. After sharpening, like pre-puberty!

I need to sharpen my boat knives next, already did the kitchen knives... it's friggin FAST.. lovin it!
