Scenic pictures.

Post by ResQ » Sun May 15, 2011 2:12 am

Every now and again I like to take scenic pics. Here are some from when we got a break in weather last thursday. (taken with cell phone)

Whats cool about this picture - look at it upside down. :)

I love it when the fog rolls in over the river like that. It's so cool. Unless you have to navigate some tricky rapids or something and can't see five inches in front of your face. But it's still cool. Nice picture.

O.k., now I am stumped. How are you guys getting the large photos posted on the forum? Are you not downsizing the photos before you upload them?

We have had something like this before. A couple of years ago, we had a photo contest going where people would upload photos and then they were judged. Fishnislife and A9 started the post and also judged the photos. It was a lot of fun.

It is MUCH more efficient than using the upload process as no initial cropping of the photo is required..... and if the picture uploads too large photobucket offers a cropping/resizing feature right in your account in the picture viewer. Convenience is key!

Hey Matt, what's that poking out of the water in the lower left corner of that pic? Fish? Water bottle?

Gringo, funny you should mention it because I noticed that same thing last night after posting the picture.... I have NO idea what that is sticking out of the water! The picture was taken at Pateros this winter, it must be a rare glimpse at Nessy!! :alien:
