I have an 2001 merc 5 hp long shaft 2 stroke, with only 3 tanks of fuel ran thru it, very clean,,,,,,,,$425,,,,,, Also 1984 merc 7 1/2 hp set up with remote controls that was a kicker on my boat runs good its a short shaft, has no tiller but cables are about 12ft long,,,runs good.......$475 with controls......I went to a 4 stroke and have no use for these motors

Yeah, those are good deals. If I didnt just buy that 9.9 I would have picked up his 2001 merc.

thanks for the reply to bad im late.. i need a long shaft for my drift boat :(
