Well, without cheating and going on line for the answers, I will give it a try:

6. what kind of fish, in large populations, are a sign of a mesotrophic lake? Carp
7. the "cannibal" is a nickname for what kind of trout? Mackinaw
8. what is the larvae of the dobsonfly called? Hellgrimite
10. what is a trout doing when it is feeding on nymphs? Cruising the the weed beds or bottom
12. what do "piscivorous" fish feed on? Other fish
14. what kind of fish is a "brownie"? German Brown (trout)
15. on what would you find an eye, a gap and a bite? A hook.

6. what kind of fish, in large populations, are a sign of a mesotrophic lake? Carp (I cheated off Marc)
7. the "cannibal" is a nickname for what kind of trout? Lake
8. what is the larvae of the dobsonfly called? hellgrammite (I could have cheated off Marc...but I knew that)
9. what is found between the epilimnion and the hypolimnion? trick question...nothing, they are one on top of the other
10. what is a trout doing when it is feeding on nymphs? looking for Marc's fly
11. " the bugle-mouthed bass" is a nickname for what fish? Smallmouth bass

I would've thought the answer to #7 would have been Cutthroat.They have a vivacios(sp) appetite for other fish.I use small herring in the lake for them.
When youre up to your rear end in alligators,its hard to remember that the initial plan was to drain the swamp.

I did some serious investigation into the legality of this thread in regards to the WDFW. This is what I came up with:

As long as the thread is called a Trivia Game and NOT a Trivia Contest, I believe that we are relatively safe........I think.....maybe......possibly8-[

I'm a little surprised how many of you think "breakline" refers to "thermocline".

A breakline is the point where the depth changes.
