Russian spies in seattle
Michael zottoli was arrested for being a deep covor spy.
I worked with Michael zottoli for several years at link conference service before it went out of business. Seemed like a great Guy I talked to him pretty much daily at the coffee pot. Very nice friendly Guy that ran our payroll department also handled the money accounts receivable.
Crazy small world we live in. He always enjoyed my fishing pics.

There are spies all around us. Even within the Boeing company acting like resposible employees. Who was the name of the married couple spies? Walker or something.

Boy, you never know about people. I recently learned of a friend back in high school who was in the news in Colorado. In school, he was a very friendly guy, pleasant to talk to, polite and well liked. Last year, he killed his wife, trying to make it look like an accident. The motive was to collect the insurance money to get out of financial debt. He had just retired from the Air Force as a Lt. Colonel. He got life without the chance of parole.

We dealt with a lot of high end conference calls. Uw, Stanford, tons of legal firms, accenture, a ton of real estate agents, the list goes on and on. I just wonder if he was getting info from these company's or if he was just holding a job there.

RE:Russian spies in seattle
Not to take away from the OP, cuz hey, working with someone that was a foreign agent is kinda neat.
BUT, this is in no way "scary" at all. These weren't James Bond or Bourne Identity style operatives running around killing people. These were people trying to get information and insight. Honestly, it's not a big deal, and something that should be expected. They are the entry level of spies. You get worried when you see the next level, comprimised people that have access to classified information. These guys were not that.
That one chick is pretty hot though!

I have family who work for the Govt in different ways. My cousin knows how I call the FBI with tips from watching the happening in Rainier valley and the CD.He sends me totally cool stuff. I have an official deck of kill cards from Sadams Iraq. Its a deck of the top 52 terrorists. Ive never opened the package. Im with Bionic. These people arent killer elites. They are just passing info around. He sent me targets for the range and cool stuff.

Not scary? I grew up during the cold war and feel somewhat differently.
From the Seattle Times article:
Boyce's handlers wanted to send him to college and then have him run for public office as they had done for many others.
PS I think she's hot.![ThumpUp [thumbup]](./images/smilies/msp_thumbup.gif)
From the Seattle Times article:
Anyone read the "Falcon and the Snowman"? It was a true story about childhood friends who beccame spies for the USSR. One of the guys, Christophers Boyce, was captured in Port Angeles of all places.A shadowy money man for a Russian spy ring whose members were assigned a decade or more ago to infiltrate American society has been captured...
Boyce's handlers wanted to send him to college and then have him run for public office as they had done for many others.
PS I think she's hot.

Where do you think some of this anti gun crap from the polititions are/is coming from?
A quote from a russian leader in the '50s - Khrushchev maybe?;
"We will defeat them from within". Or some words to that very effect.

Yeah those thoughts certainly have crossed my mind Amx. I didn't want to say anything because politics seem to be avoided on WL.com.
And probably for good reason[laugh]

RE:Russian spies in seattle
That quote doesn't have to do with gun control, but rather, the spread of communism and socialism through our universities and higher education in general. Just think how liberal college kids are, until they get out and have to work for a living. Many of them change after reality hits.Amx wrote:

That said, the same people that have tendencies towards socialism, also have a higher percentage of anti-gun sentiment.
