I got rear ended on my way to work. The gal who hit me let her insurance lapse.
Here's my car.
Good thing my license plate frame sustained no damage.=d>

Ouch. Sue her and send her to the Poor House. No insurance? That damage will make her wish she had some. Sorry for your bad luck.
Like you say, at least no damage to that frame. Glad to see your priorities are in the right place.

I would imagine that when this is all said and done she will be in financial ruin for some time. Not only will my insurance company attorneys go after her to recover repair costs to my vehicle she will have to pay to get her vehicle fixed too. Her vehicle was towed from the scene.

May not be a good idea to have the license plate visible on line. Viewing it, you can see the number, make & model of the car, etc. It may not be a big deal, but I wouldn't post mine:-k

Took the car to the body shop on Thursday. Friday they called me and said there was $6000 in damage, so far.

Does your insurance cover you if this idiot doesn't pony up?

Easy- Was it you a few years back that had your boat stolen? It seems that I was reading that in the Piscatorial Pursuits forum.

That is a bad 13th. I thought mine was bad because it was my quarterly meeting day with my boos, but actually he is a nice guy and everything turned out good. Sorry for you Easy.

Friday the 13th has been pretty good to me. My divorce was final on a Friday the 13th, and this last one was a travel day to Maui. No fishing, but a great week spent with my family. Next time I go I'm hitting Long's or Walmart first thing for a rod and reel. It was killing me to sit on the lanai every morning with a cup of coffee and watch the locals fishing right in front of me.

LOL right on. i've always wondered what anyone can do with that info via an online picture that they can't do by looking at it sitting out front of my house.

*UPDATE*
I finally got my car back yesterday. All is well except for the drivers seat still wobbles. The body shop is going to have to order new rails for the drivers seat. Final tally as of yesterday: $7000 in repairs to the vehicle and $1000 for a rental car. Good thing we have good insurance.=d>
