bass heads vs bass heads - hopefully there will be largies and smallies
trout catchers vs trout catchers
... so on and so on

I too have seen these tournaments. They use a FISH CALCULATOR to determine point standings. Everyone has an even playing field due to the calculator, takes into consideration what region your in and species of fish. For instance a 12" Rainbow from Washington can be worth as many points as a 20" Bass in the Southern States where Bass are the most common fish. Therefore the WL Tournament could use a similar type calculator. Everyone can fish for whatever they want. The catches are judged and given points accordingly. Anyone could win and you would not have to have different brackets other than perhaps, "Largest" of the day for fun.panfisher wrote:hey! i would go for some sort of contest but you would need to include the shore fisherpersons. they have contests that use pictures of your catch in the midwest, they ran biggest fish of the week, month and year, all species. use to enter them years ago. biggest fish won fishing, camping, gear worth so much per week and gets better for the month to the grand finale at the end of the year, just another thought. <')//<

I think it would be fun to meet up with a bunch of people off this site, see what there #1 fish they like to catch. Maybe have some good eats???? what does everyone think?????
