It's time to congratulate fishnislife on the big 1,500. He's our second admiral, and a great asset to the site. Looking forward to the next 1,500! :cheers:

As I am looking at the boards and noticing all this rank ,I was wondering about some of the ranks.Please explain what a Rear Admiral is compared to just a Admiral?Im sorry but the term Rear Admiral sounds like jail talk.I missed the military and I'm sure someone knows the rank in order.Starting with private on up.
When youre up to your rear end in alligators,its hard to remember that the initial plan was to drain the swamp.

Navy ranks start with seaman recruit and work their way up to master chief petty officer. The officer ranks start with ensign and work their way up to 4 star admiral.

Yes there is a rear admiral.

A private is from one of the "lesser services" that couldn't make the cut for the Navy. #-o
