Seems that the reports for the salt had stopped a while ago. Anyone here still fishing the salt?

My mistake. Seems that there's a bug. No recent reports are showing up on the saltwater reports page, but there are some on the home page.

Last report I see off the Home page for Salt is 9/13. For the link you just posted, the most recent post was in 2005. I'm not complaining, just F.Y.I.8-[ I would be posting, if I had a way to get out on the salt that is...:-({|=

I've been fishing just about everyday near the Hood Canal Bridge off of Salsbury Point. We have a remodel right on the water and during my breaks I toss out a couple of times. I have been watching the guys on the dock as well. 2 weeks ago I hooked up to one and lost it at shore. That week I saw a dozen silvers pulled up off the dock. Plus, everyday in that week I would see a ton of activity on the water from baitfish, seals, birds and salmon. Now it is pretty quiet. I still toss out every now and again but I haven't had a hit since last week. I'm planning on it to pick up in the next week or so.
Hopefully it picks up for everyone else.
It would be nice to see more salt reports.
I know people have been going out, but with how slow it has been maybe no one wants to report. I know I have only made 1 report in the 15 days I have fished.

If you think about it, in the last 6 to 8 weeks there have been literally thousands of people fishing the salt for pinks and silvers, not to mention the blackmouth season that came and went. I checked the area 8-2 and 9 reports every week during this time frame and there were only a few of us who posted reports. I'm not sure if everyone realizes you can post a salt report on this site or if the majority of these salmon fishermen & women aren't familiar with walakes.com which is an absolute great site. I would like to think it's one of the two but I am guessing they just don't want to take ten minutes to post a report. Anyway, I wish everyone who visited this site would post their trips. And not the post that reads, "Fished today but no luck." I get frustrated when I see a post that is empty! I am hoping to see details which will help all of us gauge our decision on when and where to go next and what to use. I also get frustrated when I see a guy post his trip, say he killed em, but doesn’t want to reveal his secret spot or what he used or what depth or technique he used to "kill em." There are enough fish for all of us. Sharing information on a productive spot or what you used ECT, isn't going to take away from a guy's next trip to his favorite fishin hole. Sorry to rant. This is a great site and I very much enjoy hearing where everyone is fishing and how they did on their trips. It really does help to hear how fishing is or was at any location. Thanks to all who post reports. I appreciate it. Good luck on the water.

yup, more reports would be nice. But for point of reference, last year we posted 19 SW reports in Aug, this year 55. However, last year Sept was 21, this time we are at 11. I don't know why we've slowed down. Aaron and I are definately looking into ways of making the saltwater reports stand out. SW (and rivers) are add-ons and I think a lot of people just don't think of them on Washington"Lakes".com

Mike brings up a good point in his last sentence. I recall the days when the washingtonlakes.com was hosted on pictorial pursuits. The river fishing section of that board was just loaded with super knowledgeable river anglers, very few of which seem to utilize WAlakes.com. Which is too bad, because some of those guys where "unreel" river anglers.

I had always thought that this site should live at WashingtonFishing.c, but that domain is taking up by a squatter company (one that hogs up the domains and sells them for thousands each). If I find any domains that are open, I can shoot them to Mike and Aaron if they want.
