I built one and all it attracted was curious seals and bait fish. It did not increase my yield. In fact, I still stand with my record for most squid caught at 0.

Does anyone know if squidding picks up earlier in the season for the North Puget Sound? Based on the FB post, it seems like they migrate south the further into the season you go. Perhaps they are in Oak Harbor in August?

I have seen squid caught at Dash Point in Aug. Fishing for pinks.
