So, yeah, the roads to Rock Lake are probably questionable for traveling especially hauling a boat.
Funny, I was just thinking about that this last weekend, and was going to try to take the boat out and find out, just in case. Yeah, you can get there by going through Rosalia then head to Malden and then off to Pine City. I've been to Bonnie, and that's the way I would go, but it's been a coule years now so I don't remember the exact route. PM on the way, and no, I've never launched there. I checked it out a couple years ago, right after we got our boat. Just happened while I was there, a guy launched his older Hewescraft and I watched him back his truck and trailer into about 6" of water while his wife peered over the transom of the boat. When she hollered "stop" he got out with hip waders on and pushed his boat off the trailer even though it was only touching water at the transom end.:cyclops: I asked why he stopped and he told me there's a ledge that the trailer would drop off of if he'd gone any further. I don't have a problem with getting in the water, or backing into it, but my wife is my fishing partner and she's having no part of that.
