Lakes with a dock at WDFW boat launch.

I need a dock when I launch my boat as I am handicapped. I am looking for lakes in the south sound area that have a dock at the boat launch. A launch other than A WDFW is ok. I don't mind the fees.

I see a lot of the quality lakes do not have any docks at the WDFW launch.

Thank in advance for your input.

Jack

This website has every boat launch in the state listed with a description of whats there and details about the launch condition, bathrooms, docks, if its ADA compliant, etc etc. Its a good idea to double check with a Google Earth look to get a better picture of whats its like.

They often list phone numbers of who you can call to make sure the dock is out or if its been pulled for the winter etc. Most of the information seems to be very accurate for the ones Ive checked but some of it is out of date. Good idea to call ahead to double check.

doesn't look accurate. At least not for eastern WA. Just looked at Banks and it's partially wrong.

Which one is wrong?

They have a contact email you can send in error reports. Ive reported a couple. Sometimes it takes them a long time to get it fixed unless its just a website error. Website errors get fixed pretty fast, but if someone has to go inspect a site that can take forever. I suspect the budget/priority for this is on the low side.

Hmmm, the last time I looked on there, it was missing the ramp at Moses Lake at Heron park, but looks like it's on there now. Just checked Steamboat and it has the primitive one shown on the south side of the bowl, but I don't think that's a real launch. I remember checking it out a few years ago and IIRC, it has a dropoff where you couldn't safely launch a boat. It's missing the launch on the outside of the bowl. I guess overall, it is pretty accurate.
