Lake Sawyer Confused on GPS Location vs. Description in Rpt.

GPS indicates a location for this lake way out by Highway 2. The description of the lake is 2 miles DW of Black Diamond, has boat ramp. Totally different if I use google map. Any help with this lake? Not sure I want to drive 2 hours from Seattle to Highway 2 location and no lake.

Whatever GPS cordinates you have for Lake Sawyer are wrong, unless there's another Lake Sawyer I am unaware of. The location of the lake is actually NW of downtown Black Diamond. Water temp is about 40 degrees right now. Good luck out there.

The GPS coordinates are from this website on the Lake Index. When you click on Lake Sawyer it takes you to up near Highway 2. Thanks I assumed it was wrong but someone might want to change or update the coordinates for Sawyer.
