Here is a depth chart for trolling weights. You can also google trolling depth chart and look at images. Ive also seen guys use hollow core pencil lead with wire or cable in it so you have a low profile. So the weight doesn't affect your lure much. You will need to weigh it to get the weight you want. Hope this helps.
