Northwest Fishing Reports

I have been looking to get into fresh water shore fishing but have been having issues finding information online and in books. I know we have a few mountain lakes and urban lakes stocked with trout, and we have catch and release cutty on our beaches, but we can’t keep any. Stocked trout tend to be smaller, and for me I have an illogical preference to fishing for wild fish. Gotta love the hooked nose. Are there any lakes or streams that offer decent native trout fishing from the shore? All advice is packaged Its been a fun year learning fishing
