Not new to kokanee fishing just new to this body of water. Also would like recommendations for an RV camp preferably with hook up but dry camp is ok.... Thank you in advance.

My recommendation too, especially with water levels down for runoff.

You'd recommend that area for both camping and fishing?

Spring Canyon and Ft. Spokane are probably the two biggest campground/launch sites on Lake Roosevelt. Success rates for kokanee will be better near the dam than Ft. Spokane area this time of year.

That said, water levels are on the rise. 1245' as of 2am and projected to go from 1245.21' at 11pm on 4/30 to 1253.38 at 5am 5/7! Generally speaking, rising water conditions make for tough fishing and lots of surface debris.

To stay abreast of reservoir levels, visit http://www.wrh.noaa.gov/otx/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; and click on "Hydrology - Rivers and Lakes". Select Grand Coulee Dam and it will take you here - http://water.weather.gov/ahps2/hydrogra ... gage=gcdw1" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
