How fast can your little boat go in the River?

Post by oneshot » Mon Aug 12, 2013 11:06 pm

Well.. mine can go 22mph in standard time, that's what my Garmin Rino gps reads..
when I up the frame rates 7x standard time i'm doing 154mph.. it looks fast..and kind of neat :pirat: take a look..

not gonna lie. I enjoy the river when there is no fish in it, means no fishermen or not a lot, so i can haul it at 22mph all over the place.. :pirat:  :-"

About 5mph, 6 if I have a good tail wind and leave the dog at home.

My little guy tops out at 23 on stillwater, but I'm sure it goes much faster when I am cruising downstream in the snohomish. It sure feels like it does anyways. I'll have to check it out when I get out there this year.

I have no idea yet -
I'm too nervous to look down when I am up on step
Haven't thought to have any passengers check it for me
and I haven't got it up to full throttle cruising yet.

I fish not because I regard fishing as being terribly important, but because I suspect that so many of the other concerns of men are equally unimportant, and not nearly so much fun. ~ John Volker

I would think speeds would vary depending on who's chasing you.

Been 75 in a bass boat. Kinda scary, but also very cool. #-o

My putt-putt tops out at 30 on a good day.

Only as fast as I can row down stream... Actually, with the 80lb thrust riptide on it, my Clack can get up and move pretty good on the lakes.
