I ordered some brads jigs earlier in the season and honestly the best product I have ever bought, best customer service, very nice guy and helpful. not too mention his jigs are the best, jig heads never chip and the body never falls apart and the hooks are super strong and super sharp, can't find anything wrong with his products to be honest

Actually the one time I bought a Brads jig I literally made one cast and reeled it in to find a blown apart jig. I was surprised since I've never seen a jig fall apart from one cast. I would hope it was just a bad apple and not a regular thing, I fish my own jigs now so don't know how often it happens.

a good whip finish eliminates the need for cement. i never cement a jig and never do they come apart. you can google it. if possible learn to do it without a tool. faster, better, tighter.

Yup. I do sometimes use a dab of superglue if I have it. You can also lightly coat the thread for the last few wraps. I've tried a few different jig heads and these are the best IMO.

Head cement makes a jig last longer, especially when you're catching tons of fish with it. They have teeth!

I just posted some jig heads for sale in the classified forum. All are hand-poured and painted by me.
There's absolutely nothing wrong with them -- I've just got too many.

An update on the late season fish, they now have a big log on the spillway! In low water this could be a pain.

That could be dangerous. Heard it was only like a foot of viz up there today. My gramps went there and turned around.

We did well, hit three. We were the only ones. Up by white bridge we had about 2. ft, by the take out it was pretty murky. Fish were moving though, the were rolling right under the boat. They should sit still if we can drop a little bit more.

2 feet of visibility, the fish were rolling next to the boat as they moved up.
