2009 Couples Bass Fish-in?

Post by Ditch Pickler » Fri Feb 27, 2009 2:37 pm

Me and BB were talking the other day about getting our "mahal/wifey" out for couples fish-in this year. How fun would it be to have your significant other out on the water catching some bass. I'm lucky enough to have a loving GF that supports my passion and gets out on the water with me from time to time. Not to mention she catches hogs as well when she listens to me.

I've also seen a few pictures of bassers on here fishing with their "GF/Wife/frens with benefits" etc as well. Anyways, I really think this would be an awesome thing to do. Just a fun in the sun bass outting. We could even makes it a .vs. style fish in for bragging rights...

Format could be something like 5 fish limit per couples..."the ladies have to at least catch 2 fish. Or just men vs men and the ladies vs ladies or NOT. I just want to see people out there supporting one another instead of the ladies staying home watching TV on nice days eating junk food.

This would be something we do mid-late summer so its easier for them to catch. LMK what yall think? :thumleft:

This is a cool idea. Where are you guys thinking about setting this up at?

I know my wifey would be up for it as long as it's not too far away.

Depends on how many people are 100% sure they want and will attend. If theres like 20 boats then lake WA would be ideal. If less then a smaller lake would work.

I havent been on this site for a week or so, so ill try to keep yall posted in the near future. If anyone has ideas, i would greatly apprieciate them.

I can set something up here at lake Whatcom, in this neighborhood community me and wife live in. a pavilion for BBQ and an area for dogs plus playgrounds for the kids all on the lake. Close to hotels in b-ham and camping south lake.
For those who want to make a weekend of it there's Terrell, Samish, and Fazon.
I've been lurking this site for a while and couldn't let you guys pass this up. for those who know Whatcom.... Terrell.... i need not say more.
Basstradamus or anyone else organizing PM me. the more time to set this up the better.
