Hey all, I'm looking to go find the next smallmouth record and I am looking for some help. I've not fished this stretch of the Columbia and wanted to ask any of you that have a few questions:
If I put in at White Bluffs, how far north do I have to travel to get into some big smallies? Is there a better place to launch from? I've got a 17' Tracker with a 50HP Mercury. I see Locke Island and a few pinch points, I'm assuming that's the danger areas that I keep hearing about. What are the dangers? I'm assuming rocks, current.... But I'm also assuming the pinch points are where the fish are hiding.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated
