Re: Anyone been to Kitsap Lake recently?
Hi there Juniah87 I was down at the lake today. I did see one perch up on its side near the pogy club boat launch. It was very small though. My guess is that someone caught it from shore. I did see a couple of boats bass fishing today also, but I do not know how they did. Was my first time out this ...

Re: Fish Finder GPS Transducer
Hi Lawfin I had the same problem as you last year. Now I am no expert when it comes to electronics, in fact I am just a rookie to all the fish finders. These fish finders are like buying a Chevy or Ford kind of thing. I bought a hook 7 for my 14 ft. Gregor. At the time I just could not justify spend...

Re: SNOW. How much did you get?
I got 8 1/2 to 9" of snow at Kitsap lake. I just spent the last 2HRS. plowing the drive way with the tractor. Tree branches & complete trees went down around my place. It looks like I will be cutting fire wood for a few days. Never did lose power.

Re: Help ID Trolling Flashers
I have to agree with what every one else has said. We used to call them gang trolls, large string trolling gear. There was a company called pop gear hence the nick name pop gear. They are still effective for catching trout, just not as much fun as mention before. It could be that they where home mad...

Re: Case Inlet Fishing, Allyn
I will have to ditto what Larry has said!! If there is any salmon running that far in they are usually pretty lock jaw by then. Even in the Hood Canal they will get lock jaw & it is pretty rough catching them. Got to piss them off.

Re: Oyster bay Bremerton
What is your target species? If it is salmon, this body of water is closed. You can not fish for salmon from the Manett bridge. Check the fishing regs to see what you may fish for. It is a nice warm cove for water skiing in.

Re: 4-stroke on a 13 1/2 Gregor
Hello firetiger! I have a 14' Gregor boat also. I have a 15 hp. Honda four stroke on the back of mine. Honda motors are the heaviest outboards by weight that is out there on the market. Now my boat has a three gallon tank in the center bench. I have an elec. trolling motor for the lakes. I can not t...

Re: Lake for fishing/waterplay with year and a half old baby
I would not try Kitsap. It is real weedy at the public park of the docks. You have a lot of boat & jet ski noise from the launch. The weeds keep getting taller each week. The fisherman's boat ramp on the side of the public park is all so very shallow. It is a pretty tough lake to fish. Either the bi...

Hi Toni
I tried looking up the regs on line & in special section. I could not fine any info on this, other than the 5 fish per day. Could you please tell where to look it up in.
Thanks Butch
