Anybody know some good public ground to go to for grouse on the Olympic Peninsula? I don't want to steal people's honeyhole, just some recommended forest roads to drive down, etc. I took the Palo Alto road into the Olympic Nat'l forest on labor day and only saw one about 150 yds away.

I found out today that my 2009 Mercury 9.9 tiller outboard was stolen. If you come across a motor with Serial # OR302239 call the police. I live in Bremerton so I assume if someone tries to sell it, it will be in the Kitsap or Mason county area.

I'd start looking on boattrader.com, or go look at new boats see what features you like/don't like and then look for a used one. But with a family of four yeah I think you'd want something in the 17'5"-20" range. Keep in mind the wet weight of the boat (gas weighs 6.1 lbs per gallon, I googled it), ...

That is really cool, I don't think I would have ever thought about applying bed liner to the bottom of a boat. But it makes sense now that I think about it.

I've never salmon fished before, and am just starting to get into saltwater as a whole. I would think Dungeness Spit might work. You are at least getting away from land that way, I'm not sure how soon the bottom drops off of there though.
