What fish to expect on the OP?
I am fishing with a friend on the Olympic Peninsula next week but am not sure which river we are targeting. What is running up the rivers at this time? Thanks.

fishing in early September?
I am coming out to visit my daughter on the OP and plan to do some fishing there again. I have had some luck on several of the rivers on past visits. This time our visit will be in early September. What can we expect at that time of the year on the OP rivers? thanks.

RE:visiting end of Sept 2 weeks -looking to fish
Hey quad, yes, I do remember and just recently saw one of your replies to me. If I think Seattle may be a possibility, I'll let you know. I do want to fish so I may have to go where the opportunities are!

visiting end of Sept 2 weeks -looking to fish
My wife and I are visiting our daughter the last week of September and first week of October. She lives near Hoquiem in western WA. I am retired, non-smoker, lite drinker and a fisherman. I would love to go out on fresh or salt. I can drive to Seattle area if necessary but prefer no further than Oly...

Where is Ocean Shores jetty?
I am visiting family near Ocean Shores and want to try some fishing. The recent post mentioned fishing the jetty. Where is the jetty? Is it at the south end of the road at OS? Is the fishing better at certain tides? Any other suggestions? Where to get bait? Can I buy it? Someone mentioned using stor...

RE:fishing spots in S/N Dakota, Wy, Id, Mon. etc??
Does anyone have suggestions for having a good fishing experience without paying the price of an all day guided trip. If I were sharing the cost with someone, that would be the way to go, but I am taking my wife and must pay the full fare of at least $450.00 (it seems). I appreciate all that a guide...

RE:fishing spots in SD/ND/Wy/Mon/Id etc?
I have done a good bit of research on our trip and fishing during our travels. It seems the expense of hiring a guide for a float fishing day is more than I want to spend. I see nothing less than $450 $500 for a day for two people. Since my second person is my wife, there is no one to split the cost...

Smith River Northern Cal?
Has anyone fished the Smith River in Northern California? I will be in Crescent City CA in mid-July and am told it is an excellent river for fishing. What is there? How do you fish it? Is there shore/river bank fishing? What type of tackle? lures? etc. Any suggestions and opinions are appreciated?

Rollin, I have already changed our route several times based on the research I am doing. I see us on Route 90 into Washington but not sure about the route before that. From the costs of the guided float trips I am seeing, it looks less and less that I can afford to pay that much $$$$. I will continu...

Folks, Merry Christmas to all! My research so far seems to indicate I need to develop some expertise in flyfishing. As a practicing "spinnerman", can I get that done? Any suggestions besides just doing it? Thanks
