Re: Green Lake trout
I just watched that video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tcrv9ncMRf0" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; he is fishing along the east shore about 30 yards north of the 65th Street dock. The fishing is usually pretty good, but try other areas too. You can't beat the accessibility.

Brown Trout
This question is for those of you who target the Brown Trout in Green Lake. What pattern or color of Rapala/ plug will pretty much persuade the elusive Brown to strike?

Re: dock fishing etiquette question
Yeah...I'm gonna add to this topic. As I live close to Angle Lake and therefore fish it primarily, I experience this "contact" fishing. I have no problem with informing the offending angler and in a firm voice to give me room. I never get any arguments and other anglers seem to say good for you spea...

Re: lake stocking questions
All of you make sense with your postings. I really do enjoy these moments of non-fishing and as long as we are civil to others, respectful and no name-calling, I will continue to read and respond in WA LAKES forums. Isn't that what it's all about? Thank you!

Angle Lake
F.Y.I. The City of Seatac Parks & Recreation Department has re-arranged the dock at Angle Lake. The leg that formerly faced the swimming area has been placed directly in front of the gangway. This extends the dock another approximately 50'. They will also be constructing a dock at the boat launch to...

Arrow Lake, Normandy Park
Do any readers live on or have any knowledge of fishing on Arrow Lake? It is found in Normandy Park, King
County. It is totally surrounded by private homes so access would only be allowed by someone who lives
there. It should have a fairly good spiny ray population.

Re: Winter trout fishing in washington state
Green Lake in Seattle has been proven that trout fishing for both Rainbows and Browns during the winter months fruitful. The entire northeast shoreline from 65th Street dock north to the swimming area seem to be best. On American Lake if you do not want to pay Bills Boathouse $4 (usually $3 during w...

Re: An Introduction .........
I'm surprised there aren't many replies to this post. I and other dock fishermen have caught Kokes from the furthest dock on Lake Meridian at the park. Three weeks ago I caught 2, both were in spawning colors. Previous months prior to that 12-13" bright silver specimens.

Re: Officers seize 242 trout, arrest suspected poachers
I realize that this is a tad late, but last September while I was fishing at Angle Lake, I chatted with this youngster on several occasions. He told me about the Russians/ Bosnians that go out and net what ever they can and bring their catch in the coolers they have in the boat. I'm telling you that...

Re: Angle Lake
As if the park closure wasn't bad enough, it gets worse. Decided to try angle today and got the boat in the drink at about 4:45. Just as I started marking some fish, the construction workers started yelling at me to come back to the launch. Turns out they have to close the gate when they leave at 5...

I have contacted Mr Ledbetter about the problems we have been experiencing and requesting some resolution. I suggested that Parks personnel handle the gate closing like they did before construction began. I also asked that maybe they could work out something with Alaska Air Group about allowing some...

Re: Angle Lake
I as well do not understand why the dock was not included in the fishing access allowed. Perhaps if we ask the question of the proper person(s) and or construction company we can get some answers. I do not know why the spray park was such a priority especially when the swimming area is available. Pr...

"I'm not calling any single person retarded, I'm calling the idea that they have in our state that to manage a fishery all we have to do is keep it one step away from being on the ESA threatened list.
