In Potholes, the rip rap along the dam is usually a good place to try. Any of the smaller canals, beaver huts, and Goose Island (Rock outcroppings near mardon and the dam), are all places to try plastics and shoot a jig and pig. Oh yeah... What about Lake Desire and some of the ponds out the Petrovitsky in Renton. The possibilities are endless.

Don't count out Morton and Fenwick. I know they hold a fish or two. Both have a gravel launch and plenty of shoreline to toss jigs at.

Looks like the local boy done good. A big congrats to the man from Orting! Heading into the final day for a chance at $500,000, he is sitting in 5th place. The list of pro's not continuing on to the final day reads like a who's who of competitive bass fishing, while Ron is making a name for himself....

Unfortunately Tapps is not known for it's Lunker Bass program. Plenty of 1-2 pound fish available for the catching, not so much with the 3-4's. Although Cole did pull a 7 LB largemouth earlier this year.
