Mike: I enjoyed your post. Brings back good memories. I used to swim in Lake Samish when I was a lot younger when we'd have a picnic there back in the early 50's at the park on the south side of the lake.I never knew at that time there were kokanee in the lake. Now 65+ or so years later I now also fish for kokanee, mainly at Merwin, Roosevelt, and Chelan I also have the same black Lund 1650 that's owned by Randy and mine has a 40 hp Honda 4 stroke on it for main power. What a coincidence. Anyway, thanks for the memories.
