There were not many fish, but I heard they filled the lake with a huge new load of Salmon very recently. Horseshoe Lake isn't good for big boats 'cause it's kinda small.

I went to wallace lake February 2002 .I didn't catch anything, but I only fished for 45 minutes. There were a few rises ,but no bites with the water that cold and snow around the lake.
