Finally, opening day! Got on the water about 6:00am, fished power bait and marshmallows, caught 4 eatable hatchery fish, no carryover or triploids, will try again!

Hit the lake around noon. Within 5 minutes caught 2 13" rainbows using a green wedding ring & worm. Trolled the entire lake twice without any more hits. Tried plunking for a while, landed a fat 11"...

Fished from noon till 4pm. did catch a few small bass and
two nice trout let them all go spinnerbait worked the best. Had good
weather. Water is 58 not bad. Saw one bass that was a good 3 to 4lbs.
