I went searching for the crappies again that I keep hearing are in there and I keep running into Rainbow. Limited out last 3 times there simply drifting with a 1/2 worm and sometimes tipped with pink powerbait. I fished the docks with many different crappie jigs and caught two bass that together wouldn't have been enough to make a fish stick. A couple of the trout I have been catching have had baby bass in there system. So someone could probably troll around in a bass lookin rapala or something and do pretty good. However, it seems it don't matter where you are, just drop a jig with 1/2 a worm to the bottom and drift away. The smallest one I have caught the last 3 times was 9" but most are 13-15". Maybe somebody can give me a better idea of where the crappies are. Any help? Also, some ladies were fishing and told me there was fresh water salmon in there. What is that, KOKANEE? I have no idea im from the midwest.
