Okay crappiepro or crappieking, how about a little help on where the crappie are. I fished this for about 2 hours casting at every submerged log and all the docks and caught 2 bass that together may have been a fish stick. Lots of trout jumpin everywhere so I decided to tie on a wedding ring tipped with orange power bait and caught 2 rainbows 14". Decided to drift with a crawler and power bait and caught another trout about 11". Took off hte power bait and went for perch and continued to catch 5 more trout, of course I only kept 2 to get my 5 for the day. Went a little shallower and found a few perch, awfully small. The trout were really busy on this over cast day with scattered sprinkles coming down. It was colder, didn't have my fish finder on me so don't know what the water temp was. I was excited about catching crappies and didn't see one. I used several jigs and everything just seemed to produce trout. Oh by the way, two of the bigger trout that I cleaned had small baby bass in them. Just some info I thought I would share.
I just got a 16' lund and wanted to see how she handled. Worked the trolling motor all day and it worked fine. Looking to go on a walleye trip on the other side or down by Oregon on the columbia if anyone is interested.
good fishin.
Joe
