Got to the lake about 9:00, started out trolling with a muddler. Caught several fish right away, but they were small (10"), so we let them go. Eventually caught 7 keepers; biggest was 14", the rest were 12"-13". Most of the fish are being attacked by copepods, a small parasite that clings to the fish. Warmer water temperatures make it harder for the fish to fight them off. WDFW says that they are harmless to humans, but the trout should be cooked. (duh) Bottom line: copepods are probably very anoying to the fish, won't hurt humans, but really look gross.
