We have been trying off the boat docks and off of clover island. We have been catching several smallmouth bass and a few rainbows. Nothing to big all around 8 to 14 inch bass and 6 to 12 inch rainbows. The fishing is off and on due to alot of debree floating in the river. I spend more time unsnagging my kids lines than fishing. The docks at the east boat launch has been over run by carp as of last sunday. There are massive carps jumping so close that I alomost hit one with the tip of my rod as I casted. I went out to quarry pond on fathers day with my son and we only caught itty bitty perch at the dock. I have heard alot about the ponds just past mcnary refuge but I havent been abble to find acsees to them that isnt posted no tresspassing. Does anyone know if you can fish the duck hunting blind area at mcnary refuge?
