My best friend "wife"& I had a great time. We got lucky & found a great spot to park our motorhome right next to the lake & 1 of 2 primitive launch areas. Our canoe was perfect for this lake. We had marginal success fishing out away from shore. They "bluegill, crappie, pumpkin seed" would nibble on the ends of our jigs pulling the little tails off & we had to work for them. We soon found out that throwing right next to the cattails they where hitting our jigs just like bass. "BANG" We would catch 4 or 5 & then move down the cattails 100 feet or so. "BANG" We caught so many on our first day it took me a "Six Pack" to fillet all the fish. Yes, my best friend helped. The next day the same luck. I'm glad my best friend doesn't drink. I would suggest, small hand carry boats, taking an anchor or 2, the wind changes directions & lots of replacement jig skirts. I almost forgot to mention PowerBait Crappie Nibbles.
