Started fishing at 6:30am. Ran to the cove on the far end of the lake and trolled a variety of leech colors on a sinking line. I had several hits and caught a couple small cutthroat. Wanting to get something a little bigger, I switched to hardware and downrigger. I started at the islands and worked my way around. I ran into a good deal of action to the west of the large island. Multiple cutthroat and a few silvers kept me busy. The magic depth was 35 feet in 45 feet of water. I was using a small dodger (000) and a blue/green Little Cleo. The largest fish was a 14" cutt. Of note, these cutts are skinny - they look like they need some fattening up! Most were 8-10". I moved back out to the main part of the lake and trolled for another hour, catching a few small koks. A nice morning of fishing.
