Tapps is now full of water and the boat launches are open. Lots of debris still floating all over the lake. Launched at 7:30 with calm water and cear sky and that lasted almost an hour. The wind came from the north at MACH 2 and did not let up. We tried for the small mouth but could not get biten. Sinko's, tubes, and lipless crank bait. None of the other fishermen were doing any better. Had to leave at noon. With the water level and weather now stable the smallies should start moving into the traditional prespawn patern. I exspect the fish to be shallow the second week of May. I'll let you know if I'm right.
Water temp 52 to 55 slightly stained with lots of debris threw the water column.
