Good fishing today. My dad and I set out on our new boat's maiden fishing voyage at around 3:00. It was raining on and off but not enough to get me off the lake. Cold too, but there were a lot of fish jumping. Apparently some others felt this way too because there were a lot of people fishing off shore taking fish out of the lake. One fisherman found our hole first so we did not go too close. We wanted to be polite so we casted from a distance and had trouble getting to our spot. After a lot of strikes I finally hooked our only fish of the day. All in all it was a good day. I hope to be back this week.
